Description

An authoritative and critically acclaimed book; in which the author traces the path of enlightenment as it is found in 37 pieces of Buddhist literature; known as the bodhi-pakkhiya dhamma. The result is a thorough and engrossing piece of work; which provides a unique insight into the nature not only of Buddhism; but also the mystic experience generally.

Shows great restraint given the dearth of evidence in old Briton. Most of the sources derive from the Roman side of events. An excellent resource for gamers; simulators; and authors. The political and administrative situation is also clearly outlined. A must have for students of Roman history. An interesting window into Pax Romana. After almost 2;000 years this text illustrates that the problems of empire are as timeless as human history itself.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Decent coverage of a famous rebellionBy Sean TurloughI think the author did a workman like job of covering these events; given that all of his written sources had to come from the Romans. He blends in archialogical evidence as much as possible to support his narrative. The art work and photos of the Celtic and Roman artifacts were helpfull in this regard. To get a better understanding of the Celt's side of these typical Roman Atrocities I would recommend readingTerry Jones' " Barbarians".2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. boudicca"s rebellionBy m ziemannWell written account of this rebellion. Nice to see cover with a flaxen haired Boudicca. As Roman reenactor; the 14th is my Legion; so this account was very interesting. I enjoyed it; whether you do is up yo you.
