If you want to know about Ogun; read this book.By Jeffery A. MartinThis is a really wonderful collection of scholarly articles about Ogun. I took a workshop 20+ years ago that identified Ogun as my guardian Orisha; and have been curious about him over the years. There is so much conflicting information online that it is difficult for even a professional academic researcher like me to cut through it all. This book did the trick. It was absolutely fantastic in its breadth and clarity. The collection of scholars assembled for it was ideal. I was very grateful someone took the time to create this collection of scholarly essays.
