I loved researching Minnesota and finding out how our ancestors lived. It is a little dry when talking about government but if you enjoy that kind of thing it wasn't to bad. Covers all aspects of life in Minnesota from the dairy farmers to the crop growers. Loved all the discussions about the buildings and roads in Minnesota. I would recommend this book for High School age kids and older. I would definitely buy from this seller again as the price was more than compatible to the local stores and the shipping was extremely fast.
